Tiger Woods was unconscious for six minutes following a mysterious car crash outside his Florida home yesterday after reportedly arguing with his wife.
The world number one golfer first hit a fire hydrant then smashed into a neighbour’s tree moments after leaving his £24million Orlando mansion during the early hours.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Woods was left unconscious for six minutes.

His wife, Swedish model Elin Nordegren, had to use two golf clubs to smash open the back window of the £500million star’s car with a golf club to help get her husband out.
Police Chief Daniel Saylor said the sportsman was lying in the street, drifting in and out of consciousness, when his officers arrived.
‘His wife had broken out the back window with a golf club to get into the vehicle and pull him out. She used two golf clubs. She bent one and used another one,’ he said.
The police chief told U.S. magazine People:’When they got there, they noticed he had lacerations to his lower and upper lip and blood in his mouth and he was in and out of consciousness.’
Two officers treated him for up to 15 minutes before an ambulance arrived. ‘They were holding him down because he kept trying to get up and he kept going in and out of consciousness,’ Mr Saylor said.
‘They held his head stable for him and basically made sure he didn’t move.’
Initially it was feared Woods, 33, was seriously hurt and he was taken to hospital but it later emerged he was not badly injured and he was released later in the day.
The golfer, who could face traffic charges over the crash, is believed to have hit his head on the steering wheel.
The airbag in his powerful Cadillac Escalade 4×4 did not inflate, which suggests the vehicle was travelling under 33mph.
And further mystery surrounded the bizarre accident after police revealed alcohol did not play a role in the crash.
